"Playing with The Pool" is an intermediate course intended for aspiring game-designers and role-players. It reveals and examines the interrelations among system, speaking, ideas, and story, using The Pool, its many derivatives, and games it has influenced.

The course is composed of lectures and practical lessons, workshops and game sessions. An interpreter will be present to help Italian students during the course.

To receive a certificate of attendance, you need to attend at least the 75% of the course and to complete the exercises and the homeworks.

The lectures will be on Google Meet and the workshops on Discord. After enrollment the attendees will receive their access credentials.

It is forbidden to record the lessons. All the lessons will be recorded by the Academy Staff and provided in case of absence.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Design course.

Live online lessons.

Application Deadline: 22th January.

Participants must be members of "Il Salotto di Giano APS" for the current year. If you're not yet a member, you should add a memberhip fee of 20,00 euros to the course price.

The course is comprised of 10 hours of lectures + workshops.
